TAMMY KAY CHOW
Somatic Attachment Facilitator

See what becomes possible when you stop hiding parts of yourself.
This is a space to dissolve your mask and be witnessed in the fullness of your Being.
Transform the wounds of hiding and being unseen into self-expression, connection, and aliveness — through the alchemy of performance.
Practice bringing more of yourself into the room through somatic therapy, character embodiment, and ritual theater.
Leave with greater access to yourself — in your life and your relationships.
What is Shadow Play?
Shadow Play is a 2-day immersive workshop at the intersection of somatic therapy, shadow work, acting, clowning, and ritual theater.
It is a living, relational container where we use the body as an instrument — exploring and revealing the layers and parts of ourselves we have kept hidden out of shame, so we can reclaim access to our full energy and aliveness.
We will dive into the subconscious aspects of ourselves and give them space to exist and be seen — not just for personal healing, but for collective liberation.
Through experiential acting exercises, embodied writing, somatic movement, and emotional group process, we will express, feel, and explore the characters within us that we have been managing, hiding, or performing to access deeper connection, vulnerability, and freedom.
This is for you if:
You are ready to move through the blocks that keep you from being fully seen — in your relationships, your creative work, and your life.
You are someone who loves going deep — into yourself, into your experience, into what's real beneath the surface.
You are curious about acting, performance, and embodied expression as pathways to self-knowledge and healing.
You are an actor or performer wanting to experience a body-led approach to your craft — and curious about how your own internal parts, stories, and shadows can deepen your artistic range.
You are drawn to self-reflection and personal growth — and want an experiential, embodied way to explore that.
A note on the depth of this work...
While we use the tools of acting, clowning, and theater, the container is somatic and relational — meaning we will be working with the actual contents of your internal world, your personal history, and the parts of yourself that have been living in shadow.
This work can bring up real material. Emotions, memories, and somatic responses that have been waiting to be met. We welcome all of it — conflict, judgement, vulnerability, and what might be considered "taboo" — as doorways to seeing ourselves and each other more clearly.
Because of the depth of this work, we connect with each participant before joining to ensure this container is the right fit. We take the integrity of the group seriously — and are committed to creating the conditions for trust, depth, and collective care.
